Founded
in 2002, the 6MM Miltia was born in Oxford,
Ohio. The team was founded by a handful of lazy,
drunk friends who wanted to go out and shoot
something. The spirit of the founding members
lives on in the 'unique' way 6MM approaches
airsoft.
Airsoft
is not all about killing or eliminating your
opponent. Some of the best accomplishments are
those that do not draw attention. Some teams
bask in their glory. Others ride their high
horse. While others prefer to be silent and
efficient. They approach the game as if it were
a real life mission. The emphasis on saving
the fallen sets 6MM apart from other teams in
the area. They understand that without keeping
the team as a whole running they cannot be combat
affective. Rescues, Casualty Collection Points
and triage are all tools in 6MM's tactical toolbox.
6MM measures their success by meeting their
goal which generally includes the number of
lives saved, rather than lives taken.
They
specialize in utilizing adapted modern military
tactics to achieve their mission both outdoors
and in CQB conditions. 6MM is known in the Ohio
region for their instant change on the field
from being laid-back to professional operators.
6MM has attend most large events within the
State of Ohio. Members of 6MM have been spotted
at OPs in Michigan, Indiana, West Virginia and
Kentucky.
