HALT:
When something is spotted, or danger may be
near. Signifies to team to stop moving, usually
take a knee. |

FREEZE:
When danger is extremely near. Signifies to
team that ANY movement may give away position
and or result in team casualties. |
|
HAUL
ASS: Otherwise known for truckers to blow their
horns. Signifies to team to move very quickly. |
|
DANGER
AREA: Cutting motion across vital part of body.
Signifies to team that danger or and dangerous
area is near. |
|
ENEMY:
Enemy spotted, or spotted persons identified
as enemy. Can also be used by team members who
do not see targets to ask those who do whether
the target is hostile. |

FORM
UP/STACK ON: Patting one's head. Signifies to
team to form up or "stack" on him. |
|
SIEZE
FIRE: Stop firing. Or don't fire. |
|
WEDGE:
Tells team to move into wedge formation. |
|
LOOK
OR COVER: Either used to say "I see..."
or "You cover/look..." |
|
BOUND:
Used with 'rolling' motion of the hand to tell
the team to initiate bounding. |

SCROLL
TO THE ROAD: Full hand to shoulder (usually
left shoulder where ranger scroll patch would
be) then point hand out in front of body. Tells
team to perform a 'scroll to the road'***Note:
full hand is scroll to the road, 3 fingers without
pointing hand afterwards is 'friendly'*** |

FRIENDLY:
Three fingers on shoulder (usually right shoulder
where US flag patch would normally be). Identified
target as a friendly. |
